Do you ever imagine, what would happen if you don’t have any legal identity?

Losing an ID card might be a problem for us; we cannot open a bank account, apply for health insurance, or even check in to airports. These little things might be just a little disturbance in our daily life, and can be solved by a visit to police station. But, if no one will ever give it back to us, those little financial, health, and transportation issues will be a huge lifetime problem. And these are problems that every refugee struggled in. Dalam rangka memeringati Hari Pengungsi Dunia, Lembaga Bantuan Hukum (LBH) bersama dengan Dompet Dhuafa, SUAKA, The Wahid Institute dan Humanity First Indonesia menggelar diskusi bertajuk ‘Cinta untuk Rohingya.’ Acara ini menyajikan pula pameran foto serta penampilan dua manusia patung sebagai simbol ketidakberdayaan pengungsi Rohingya.

To commemorate the World Refugee Day, Indonesian civil societies named; SUAKA, Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (LBH Jakarta), The Wahid Institute and Humanity First Indonesia held an event titled ‘Cinta untuk Rohingya’ or Love for Rohingya. This event also presents a photo exhibition as well as the appearance of two human statue as a symbol of Rohingya refugees powerlessness.
